I want out.

Tangena.

You are ruining my equilibrium.
Please, stop ruining my equilibrium. I've worked so hard.

It's been so long since I let myself drown into those thoughts. I would always squirm in disgust everytime I do so and I really try my best to shoo the thoughts away. But that made me think. I let myself reminisce and remember that/those moment/s.

This is not a good thing.
It feels like I'm going back to square 2. And thank God it's only square 2 and not square 1 where I become a total pathetic.

I am slowly gaining back my consciousness. I am struggling to stand on my feet again. All it would take for me is to delete those messages and just fly away. I think I can handle that, I've been pretty much doing those things for almost a month.

I think that this is all just happening because I am wanting something for my own. And I just know that I won't be having it in a while (or probably in a looooong while).

This is just probably because I'm jealous and I'm wanting.

FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY.

FRIDAY

Physics defense went very well. It went better that I expected it to go. The class and Ma'am SARJ failed to ask us questions that I totally expected them to. Good thing, those questions that they did ask us were included in those simple questions that I have so carefully thought about and have already answered in my head.

The party thereafter was the most exciting part of our last Physics class. There were so many food brought by each and every one of us and man did Ma'am SARJ bring a backpack-full of drinks. We were laughing so hard at how unexpected that came to be :))

Sir Q joined us later on in the class "party". It was nice to see him again, given our history (naks. may history kami ni sir Q. haha.) There was pansit, kakanin, cake, PIZZA, ice cream, a lot of soda, etc. Basta ang daming pagkain. The room was a lot less clean when we left it (sorry kuya janitor. haha.)

Another thing that went totally well last friday was my IP 141 3rd examination. After the Physics class party, we went straight to the Main Lib to study. The coverage was so damn long and to top it all off, after eating so much food, we were all just so sleepy. (the "we" = us, the rebels.) Sleepiness + Loooong exam coverage = Disaster

Haay. Well, even if I felt extremely sleepy while studying in the Main Lib, I felt glad that I already studied for the exam in advanced, like nung last sat pa, actually. And I only needed to go through the whole manual again so as to refresh my memory. There were still a lot of things that I wasn't able to memorize but all in all, I think I did good in that exam. It's my first time to actually study (in super advance) for an exam in college, haha. Hello to the irresponsible me. :)) I felt so good about that exam that I actually finished it earlier than I expected to.

You should know that I was totally hyper minutes before the said exam. I don't know what got into me and Js, but we were just laughing at the simplest things. "Sino ang tunay na baliiiiiiiiiw?" Man. I laughed so hard then that it came to point that I just had to stop and breath for few seconds to catch my breath. Man, that was fun :))

And then, well, after that exam, I went straight to PL's debut at the Glass Garden.

I am super in love with her brothers, Luigi and Lorenzo. They are both EXTREMEMLY cute (plus points: they are also very GOOD boys. haha.)

Luigi even asked me "Wait. Are you driving?" before I left. He knew that I drank a few shots and I think, he was a natural gentleman so he asked me that :))

Haaay. In general, my friday was a blast.
The other side of the whole story, well, only Js and Gnle know what really happened. And I'd rather not tell the whole internet world about it :))

SATURDAY

Inantok ako, so, babagsak nako? Haha :)) Next topic!

Knight Hunter
Lupin the III
Cardcaptor Sakura
Shin Chan
Judy Abbot

"You look familiar! TagaUP ka diba?"
Hindi ko na ikekwento, kinikilabutan pako eh.

ANYWAYS. So pagkatapos ng cosplay, I. Mga 3pm yun. Nakipagkita ako kela Ate Jnl, Ate Lvlyn at Kebs :) I, masarap pero sobrang naumay kami.

Lovestoned
My Love
What Goes Around... Comes Around
End of Time
Cry Me A River (SUPER IBANG VERSION, NA UBER GANDA RIN)
Sexy Back

Yung bago niyang kanta, tsaka yung old song niyang Too Little Too Late.

Ate Janel (on Facebook): "and so the fat king asked: "are you true TIMBALAND fans??" sigaw ng madla: "TIMBERLAKE fans!!!!!" ...toink!!!"
Benta lang :))

TODAY, SUNDAY

All in all, I think they're on the right track towards finally leveling with ASAP. Am I just so proud :)

Ahahaha. Lalo na yung suot niya dun sa "It's My Life" performance niya. AMP. I wanna see that again.

Sadly kasi nung thursday kasi nagdinner ako with L, A, J and M kasi birthday ni L at nung friday night naman debut ni PL. Pero okay lang, I had fun on both nights at pinapanood ko na ngayon sa Youtube yung mga namiss ko episodes. Buti nga at kumpleto yung andun eh :)

DIVA MOMENTS:

March 25, 2010

Scene1

Barang: I love that. Ganito na lang. Papangalanan kitang "Sampaguita Fernandez: Ang babaeng napakasarap pakinggan, ngunit, nakakatakot tignan"
Sam: I hate you.
Barang: You hate me?

I love you, Sam! 'Wag ka muna maging Melody, please!

Sobrang nakakaiyak yung episode nung friday.

Nakakalungkot.

Dapat talaga laging magDrama si Regine. Magaling siya eh. SUPER. Even Sharon is amazed by her :)

Comments from the audience from different forums, natuwa lang ako :)

May best actress award na ba si Regine for a tv soap? I think she deserves another kung meron na, sa portrayal niya kay Sampaguita. *okay* She really relates with the character and she really feels her pain. Lahat naman siguro ng babae may "Sampaguita" complex but with Regine you can really tell she has experienced what the character is going through. Ayoko pa siyang gumanda. Im sure magsusulatan si Sam at Gary parang pen pal, so the viewers will be convinced na hindi lang porket gumanda si Sam kaya siya ma iinlove.

SAMRY :)

I LOVE IT.

I love how the story's not "pilit". :)

ANG GANDA NG DIVA!

For their Heart 2 Heart concert, May 28 :))

Overjoyed over Diva ♥

Why?

Well it's because DIVA'S RATINGS: TOTALLY MOVING UP!

Journal, March 22, 2010
Kapuso’s Primetime Gem "Diva" Garners Highest Overnight Rating

GMA 7’s first kantaserye, Diva, the story of an ugly girl with a golden voice (played by Regine Velasquez) is keeping televiewers’ eyes glued to their sets every night after The Last Prince. Diva posted the highest overnight rating of 30.2 percent last Tuesday, March 17 and continues to beat competition.

Regine's Kantaserye Moving Up
by Mario Bautista

REGINE Velasquez is elated that "Diva" has picked up and got its highest rating last Tuesday with 30.2%.

"Everywhere I go, people tell me they enjoy following the story of Sampaguita, the ugly girl who has a golden voice," she says.

"What makes it even more endearing daw is inaabangan nila kung ano ang songs na kakantahin ko in each show. Alam nyo naman, Pinoys love to sing as singing is one of the ways they express how they feel kaya enjoy sila talaga sa song numbers in 'Diva.'

Inaabangan din nila kung sino ang celebrities na magge-guest sa show, like sina Ogie (Alcasid, her boyfriend) and Moymoy Palaboy.

Viewers also tell me they like the positive values the show imparts, like the value of having a loving family who believes in you and supports your talent, and also the importance of following the golden rule of doing to others what you want them to do to you. This makes our kantaserye really very unique as it offers not only entertainment kundi may valid messages din."

Regine really gives an engaging performance in "Diva" and she's lucky to have not only two goodlooking but very talented leading men, Mark Anthony Fernandez and TJ Trinidad, who're also superb in their respective roles as Gary and Martin.

Wahahaha.

Yesterday.

@11.26pm: Just the sweetest thing.

Photobucket

Nagseryoso.

Kelangan kong magseryoso sa blog na 'to. Bakit?

I'm always just looking at the better side of the coin."

===

Akalain mong yun parin pala ang issue mo at WALA akong ka-ide-ideya na it's THAT big of a deal. Wala nakong alam tungkol sayo.

Haha.

Itatanong ko ulit.

Pwedeng malungkot?

Quoting Jev Moralde from RVML :)

Why do I love DIVA?

1. Simple lang ang title: DIVA, and yet it's very descriptive of what the story is all about. Sa totoo lang, naaasar ako kapag ang isang TV show or movie ay named as a song, after a song. ("A very special love," "You changed my life," "In my life," "Miss you like crazy") Dont't get me wrong, magaganda and very successful ang movies na binanggit ko pero ewan ko ba kung bakit naging Filipino convention na yata yan, theme song equals title. Hehe.

2. All the characters are flawed, kaya I don't get the feeling of "completely hating" these "kontrabidas" in Sam's life. Si Lady naman, well, she doesn't have much personal background but the comic relief in her character somewhat lightens things up pa din.

3. Even Sam herself is flawed, and I don't mean just literally because of her ugliness. I realized this dun sa episode last Friday. Kasi diba parang nagalit lahat ng tao sa ginawa niya na pag-amin as a ghost singer, but then again, you realize in the end na, oo nga ano, may mali din talaga si Sam sa ginawa niya. Sabi nga nila, think of the consequences of your actions muna, pero nagpadala si Sam sa emosyon niya. Parang that scene to me makes the bida equally flawed as her kontrabidas, yun bang makakaramdam ka din ng konting inis na "Sam bakit mo kasi ginawa yun! (Go team Martin hehe) At the same time you empathize for her kasi yun nga Sam is really unnoticed and uncredited for para sa lahat ng efforts niya as a ghost singer.

4. The "kanta-serye" thing really pays well because they include a good and wide selection of songs. From You (Carpenters) to I Honestly Love You (Olivia Newton-John) to Beautiful (Christina Aguilera) (sa susunod na episode pa itong Beautiful... ) I also love the new arrangements of the Regine songs like Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw and Narito Ako... acoustic eh tapos pop ang dating pero maganda padin pakinggan! Hehe... tsaka ang pinaka the best... LIVE kinakanta ni Regine yung ibang songs! So far ang pinaka favorite ko talaga yung duet nila ng YOU ni Buboy Garovillo hehe.

Haha!

AIW w/ PL & Papa Mig, Acceptance :)

Haaay. Super namiss ko yung babaeng yun.

Nakakatuwa talaga sila ni Mig. Ang cute cute cute nilang couple. Super I LOVE THEM TOGETHER. ENTIRELY compatible in all aspects.

LOVE POEM
Andrea B. Teran

Today at the train station,
two lovers said goodbye over their
cellphones across the rails.
He was going south,

she north. And even for that moment
when the train ripped the air between them,
a connection as good as technology can provide

was had. The rest of us stepped aboard and
stood watching the windows, unmoved by the pull of

lights racing the other direction.

Yes, that's really how the verses were cut. I SUPER LOVE IT. Who would ever think that a poem this beautiful can be found inside the LRT.

Favorite part: "The rest of us stepped aboard and
stood watching the windows, unmoved by the pull of

lights racing the other direction.
"

Haaay. It just shows how love can indulge you and pull you away totally from the world everyone else but you and your loved one live in.

Mr. Boyrfriend, when will we meet? :)) Haha.

Oh yes. Presenting:
Buhay Irreg :)

Masaya.
You get to live life.

I LOVE ACCEPTANCE (the band).
They are the first band I ever loved.

Photobucket
They look gay, I know. AHAHAHAHA.

I just found out that the band already disbanded. Haay. It's been awhile since I last googled this band. And yes, unfortunately, their greatness had to stop for some reason. Their last album release was 2005 and nothing followed that. Sadness.

A little history of the group:

Acceptance is a band out of Seattle, Washington. They are made up of Jason Vena (Vocals), Christian McAlhaney (guitar and vocals), Kaylan Cloyd (guitar), Ryan Zwiefelhofer (bass), and Nick Radovanovic (drums). They were formed in 1998 by Jason, Kaylan, Chris DeCastro who played drums, and Peter. Chris and peter soon left the group and Ryan, Nick, and Christian joined on. They released “Lost for Words” in 2000, “Black Lines to Battlefields” in 2003 and "Phantoms" in 2005. They play alternative style music similar to the Foo Fighters. They were influenced by The Beatles, Metallica, Jimmy Eat World, and Counting Crows.

I left my head and my heart on the dance-floor.

To party is I miss.

Update for the sake of my love.

BEH!

Ayan tuloy parang ayoko panoorin yung episodes next week. Baka magalit lang ako lalo kela Martin, Lady, George, etc.

Sorry naman at sobrang naapektuhan ako. Kasi naman eh. Ang galing umarte ni Regine. Nakikita mo talagang nasasaktan siya. At ang galing niya mag-switch from a dramatic scene to a comedic scene.

Tama yung sinabi ni Istatowin sa RVMM, and I quote:

GRABEEEEEEEEEEE. NAIIYAK NAKO FOR NEXT WEEK :'(

EPAL SCENES FROM LAST NIGHT:

Scene1
George: Oh Sam. Naintindihan mo?

Scene2:
Sam: Excuse me, Lady. Ahm.

SHUNGASTRA!

Ngetpadoodles ka na, shungastra ka pa! WERFKJWSNFS! *Buhos more tubig*

Break from aral.

SHET. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!
REGINE'S INDIE FILM
Allan Diones

CAN I JUST DIE OF EXCITEDNESS?
IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

Ako: Opo talaga, Ma'am. (sabay SMILE)
Prof: Oh sige. (nagsulat ng score sa paper ko.)

Prof: ayan, 20/20.

For the class's midterm exam, the professor just gave a single question for the students to answer: What is courage?

Since this question will cover a hundred-point exam, most of the class wrote: "courage is the act of blah blah blah.... (consuming almost all pages of the bluebook)"

One student just answered three words:... "THIS is courage."
...and he passed his blue book to the proctor.

Ohyes.

Ohyes. Highly important yung pangatlo. Kelangang maakit ko ng bongga si Daz. Kasi ang cute niyaaaaaaaa :) Challenge 'to! Ayii.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

SERIOUSLY????

America! You're cutting off
TODRICK HALL?
ADAM LAMBERT?!?

Katelyn Epperly, I will agree.

but LILLY SCOTT?

What the hell is wrong with American Idol?!

Haaaaay.

On a lighter note, I'm happy that Siobhan Magnus is in. And I'm glad that Katie Stevens also got in the top12 even though almost EVERYONE predicted that she'd be the one cut down. I really love her :) I hope she can figure out (SOON) what artist she wants to be to stay in the competition.

Deeper inside, I am hoping that there's some kinda twist that AI is holding up its sleeve. Like that "save" they had last year where in the judges could hold one contestant's elimination if they all (judges) unanimously think that the contestant deserves to stay. Maybe this year they have a "bring back an eliminated contestant" card. I don't know. :| I'm confused with AI this year. It's weird.

Wala lang. Pogi :))
Kahit hindi naman mananalo!

American Idol

Is it just me or is this year's American Idol a weird one?

I can't put my finger on it. There's something odd about. I mean, tt's not ugly, but it's not great. It's just.... weird.

I'm not feeling it. :'/ What's happening? Why am I not super excited about it? Why don't I rush when it's 6pm already? And sometimes it's "okay" for me to miss an episode.

What's happening???

Haaaaaay. On that note... I shall post this review by Lyndsey Parker because I kinda agree with most of the things she said about tonight's show :)
'American Idol' Top 8 Guys: The Men Strike Back

Posted Wed Mar 10, 2010 7:31pm PST by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks

Despite weeks of hype surrounding this season's female contestants--predicted by pundits and judges alike to dominate "American Idol" this year--on Tuesday this week, most of the ladies' performances fell flat. Therefore, the often-underestimated boys suddenly had a good opportunity thrust upon them Wednesday, and in the end they actually upstaged the girls, even moving Kara to tears and inspiring Ellen to get up on stage to hug one of them.

Yes, after Wednesday, it's not entirely evident that the women will indeed prevail in Season 9. I still really resent "Idol's" arbitrary gender quotas--that the top 12 must consist of an equal number of girls and boys, like some sort of reality-television Noah's Ark, instead of just letting the best singers of either gender advance to the finals. But now I do think there are a few males this season that might pose a real threat to the girls, based on Wednesday's performances.

So without further ado, here's Wednesday top-eight boys recap:

Lee Dewyze - "Indie" cred (at least indie by "Idol"/mainstream TV standards) rules this season, as evidenced by the quirky likes of Siobhan Magnus, Lilly Scott, and Crystal Bowersox. So Lee got in on a little bit of that action this week by interpreting "Fireflies" by bedroom-dwelling bleep-pop whiz kid Owl City. He sang it well (he's one of Simon's favorite vocalists this year), and kudos to him for trying something new, but in my opinion he obliterated everything about that song that made it cool in the first place. He basically transformed it from a winsome, ethereal electro-ditty into a meat-and-potatoes rawker that Nickelback might play at a NASCAR event. Randy Jackson and Ellen DeGeneres admitted that it was a "strange" song choice but appreciated that he "made it his own," and Kara DioGuardi bizarrely went a step further and told him he'd made the song BETTER. (Wrong, Kara. So very, very wrong.) But Simon, normally Lee's biggest champion, was less impressed, saying Lee's performance was "nothing to rave about." However, Simon still thought Lee had a very good shot at making the top 12. Lee probably will advance--he is a talented guy with two actual indie albums to his credit--but if he covers, say, a Postal Service song next week, I will scream.

Alex Lambert - Alex P. Keaton--oops, I'm sorry, I mean Alex Lambert (you must admit, the guy really looks like Michael J. Fox)--picked a perfect song for him this week, Ray Lamontagne's "Trouble." It's the bluesy Americana ballad that even gave Taylor Hicks cred (it was Taylor's finest moment in Season 5), and Alex, who has my favorite male voice this season, sounded wonderfully gravelly and gritty on it as he strummed his acoustic guitar. Ellen was thrilled, continuing her banana analogy from previous weeks when praising Alex's consistent improvement. "You're a mushy banana! You're ripening so fast!" she raved oddly. Granted, Alex's performance was still a little stiff--a young and inexperienced kid, he still hasn't quite come into his own onstage--but sonically, he was superb. However, both Kara and Simon advised him to loosen up more onstage. "The only thing standing in the way of winning is you," said Kara. Simon, meanwhile, advised Alex to imagine Randy Jackson in a bikini and even promised to make Randy strip down to a two-piece if Alex made it to the top 12. That, of course, is the only reason why I wouldn't want to see Alex advance. No one needs to see that.

Tim Urban - Tim took on Leonard Cohen's/Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah," which I found to be a gutsy--and, frankly, annoying--move. I personally feel this song should have been retired from "Idol" after Jason Castro so memorably warbled it in Season 7; after that moment, it became Jason's calling card, like Fantasia's "Summertime," and it was arguably one of the series' best performances ever. Comparisons to Jason were therefore inevitable--but honestly, this was Tim's best performance yet. It wasn't as good as Jason's, and of course it didn't come close to the Cohen or Buckley versions, but it was, to use a Randy phrase, a million billion percent better than Tim's disastrous "Apologize" performance (for which Tim has yet to apologize, come to think of it). "You walked in some pretty big shoes and you did a pretty good job," said Randy. Simon, who had a hit in the U.K with "Hallelujah" when "X Factor" winner Alexandra Burke recorded it, told Tim he was smart to pick such a "reactive" song. Even Kara was impressed by this underdog alternate contestant. "I thought you were going to be going home a few weeks ago, but now I actually think you're in it." And Ellen actually gave Tim a hug. (Aw, I guess.)

Andrew Garcia - Andrew made an indelible impression during Hollywood Week when he creatively covered female artists Paula Abdul ("Straight Up") and Adele ("Chasing Pavements"). Ever since then, he's been trying to get back to that place. His semifinals performances--both covers of male artists--were disappointing, so this week he went "back to his roots" by paying homage to another female. He did a Latin-tinged acoustic version of Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle," which was well-intentioned, but it still failed to capture the magic of his Hollywood Week numbers. Randy said "it didn't quite work," and Simon said the performance came across as "a little bit desperate" and "overthought." Added an equally underwhelmed Kara, "You peaked so early, and you've been chasing [that Hollywood Week moment] ever since. It just wasn't great tonight." It's a shame. If only Andrew had saved "Straight Up" for this crucial week, he'd be a shoo-in for the top 12. Now, I'm not so sure.

Casey James - The sort of default country singer this season along with Crystal Bowersox (there's no straight-up country contender this year, strangely), Casey strapped on a six-string, sat on a stool, and sweetly strummed his way through Keith Urban's "You'll Think of Me." He sounded nice, though his performance didn't quite have Kara hooting and wriggling in her seat like a Chippendales customer, as she did two weeks ago when she almost caused an HR incident. Randy thought the song choice was too safe and not edgy enough, and Kara said he was still missing a spark, though she conceded, "I'm kind of back on the Casey train." I'm pretty sure many female voters never got off the Casey train, though, so I'm fairly certain he will make the top 12. But when/if he does, I hope he'll deliver flashier performances than this.

Aaron Kelly - This lovable teenager also went the country route, with Lonestar's "I'm Already There." So what did he mean--that he's already in the bottom two? Quite possibly, after this. It was not good. Actually, it did get better when he got into what Randy called his "power zone"--that is, the higher register at the song's end--but at the beginning, he really struggled with the lower notes. Even the always-nice Ellen thought it was "not terrific." (No hug for Aaron!) But all the judges gushingly professed their love for this season's youngest and cuddliest contestant, no doubt echoing the sentiments of America's many speed-dialing grandmas and tweens. Despite the doubts I expressed earlier in this paragraph, I am pretty sure Aaron will avoid the bottom two this week. And I don't think it's a bad idea for him to choose more weepy country songs. But he's got to be a little savvier with his future song choices, because his voice didn't quite work on this one.

Todrick Hall - This colorful and controversial theater veteran is quite the showboater, so when I learned he was planning to sing Queen's "Somebody to Love," I braced myself for the worst. Or for the best, since I'm actually a massive fan of trainwreck TV. I held my breath expecting Todrick to sashay out in a Freddie Mercury unitard and change up the melody until it was borderline-unrecognizable. Well, he didn't do that, but his "Glee"-inspired rendition was entertaining nonetheless. His gospel-tinged version was full-on theatrical, of course--he did drop to his knees at one point, and he was flanked by three choir singers--but he sang it well. Not as well as Freddie, mind you, but as well as he possibly could. "Todrick is BACK! One of best vocals of the season!" yelled Randy. Kara confessed that Todrick's over-the-top "Godspell" theatricality had her on the verge of laughter at times, but she couldn't deny that his vocals were on point. Simon griped that Todrick came across as more of a Broadway singer than a modern recording artist ("That was 'American Idol: The Musical'"), but made the important point that after one stool-seated singer-songwriter after another, at least Todrick stood out. "That song may have saved you," Simon predicted. God save the Queen who saved Todrick, I guess.

Michael Lynche - Crooning the Maxwell version of Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work," Michael delivered the standout vocal performance of the night in the show's "pimp spot." This is NOT an easy song to sing, requiring an almost superhuman vocal range, but Michael's vocals were impeccable throughout. This time the focus was on Big Mike's big voice, not his famous "big personality." Ellen raved, "Oh my God, that was so beautiful. I feel like the show just began." (Well, better late than never, I suppose.) Kara even cried, which was a little weird (especially when she cuddled up to Simon and he awkwardly hugged her), but it was a memorable moment in an otherwise forgettable episode. "This was so needed tonight," said Simon. "This show was all a bit boring, then you came out with an incredibly difficult song. and you 100 percent nailed it. This was not just the best performance of the night. It was the best performance of all the shows so far." Go Big Mike!

So now it is prediction time. It's a tough call, but I'll go first with Tim--he was better than usual this week, yes, but I think doing Jason Castro's signature song may have backfired on him, and the hug from Ellen may have annoyed some viewers. ("Idol" viewers do not take kindly to blatant judge favoritism.) My second prediction is Andrew Garcia, who I think has finally squandered all the goodwill he amassed during Hollywood Week. But I don't believe anyone except Michael and Casey are 100 percent safe.

Anyway, after Thursday night's results show, next week the boys and girls will start competing against each other on single episodes. It's going to be a real battle of the sexes, and that's when things are going to get interesting. And that should be awesome, since this season hasn't been too interesting thus far.

Just like what Ms. Parker said, I think that the ones leaving tomorrow would be Casey James and Andrew Garcia. :/ Hmm. But if not Andrew Garcia..... theeeeeeeeen.... Papa Tim Urban. Haaay. Just a guess, I hope.

Diva Ratings, Paramore, Earth Hour

SHET IS THIS TRUE?

Nagkaron kasi ng replay ng buong pilot week episodes ng Diva last Sunday.

"What got me going last night was when the Diva marathon beat ASAP and all their SMUGNESS. A week after them posting everywhere that ASAP beat SOP... then Regine beat them all. I just LOOOVE raining on their parade."

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH. REGINE BEAT ASAP ALL BY HERSELF. DAAAAAAAAAMN. I LOVE IT.

I experienced 13 songs of pure Paramore-ness last night at the MOA concert grounds!

Fine, the JJs in front of us were really annoying.
Fine, the smokers all around us totally pissed us off.
Fine, the venue was incredibly packed and was totally burning because it was too hot.
Fine, Dayan and I were placed at the very back thus allowing us to see only a 1-inched size Haley.
Fine, we were only standing.
Fine, we were fetched late, like 1.00am.

BUT. BUT. BUT.

IT WAS ALL FREAKING WORTH IT.
PARAMORE ROCKS MY SOCKS. :)

Hayley is full of love. She never ran out of energy throughout the concert and her shirt was amazing! It said, "Para Thrilla in Manila" Isn't that just the sweetest thing? :) SHE'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! I WANNA SQUEEZE HER CHEEKS!

ANG OH MY GOSH!!! SHE SANG NEVER LET THIS GO! OHMYGOODNESS. It was their SEVENth song. Wala lang :) I REALLY REALLY love that song. I wished they would sing My Heart, but they didn't, so ohwell. But atleast, NEVER LET THIS GO was part of their repertoire!

Example of a fail picture.

Yes. Ganyan kami kalayo. Halos hindi na makita yung Paramore (thank God for the big screens!) And btw, yung parang "multo figure" sa gitna, isa yang JUMPING JOLOG. Oo, ganun sila kagulo :))

When I was on my way to school awhile ago, it suddenly rained. :| Like ambon effect. But it only lasted for just about 10minutes. After that surprise outpour, THE SUN SHONE AGAIN. SUPER PANGET NG SINGAW NG LUPA TULOY :| Parang tanga lang yung weather natin.

GAH. GLOBAL WARMING NA TALAGA GUYS. HELLO!!!

Speaking of.

Let's all partake!

OSCARS, baybeh.

At nagulat ako sa landslide wins ng The Hurt Locker sa Academy Awards this year!

So ayun.

Congrats sa The Hurt Locker :)

Haha.)

Writing (Original Screenplay)
The Hurt Locker” Written by Mark Boal

Sound Mixing
The Hurt Locker” Paul N.J. Ottosson and Ray Beckett

Sound Editing
The Hurt Locker” Paul N.J. Ottosson

Best Picture out of the TEN films nominated!
The Hurt Locker” Kathryn Bigelow, Mark Boal, Nicolas Chartier and Greg Shapiro, Producers

Film Editing
The Hurt Locker” Bob Murawski and Chris Innis

Directing
The Hurt Locker” Kathryn Bigelow

Cinematography
Avatar” Mauro Fiore

Art Direction
Avatar” Art Direction: Rick Carter and Robert Stromberg; Set Decoration: Kim Sinclair

Visual Effects
Avatar” Joe Letteri, Stephen Rosenbaum, Richard Baneham and Andrew R. Jones

Animated Feature Film
Up” Pete Docter

Music (Original Score)
Up” Michael Giacchino

Haaaaaaay. Nakakaiyak yung music dun :'(

Writing (Adapted Screenplay)
Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” Screenplay by Geoffrey Fletcher

Actress in a Supporting Role
Mo’Nique in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire”

Actress in a Leading Role
Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side”

Actor in a Leading Role
Jeff Bridges in “Crazy Heart”

The BEST talaga siya sa The Blind Side.

She was also very pretty that night :)

...And I also liked her speech :)

Trascript of the the speech:
"Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?

I would like to thank the Academy for allowing me in the last month to have the most incredible ride with rooms full of artist that I see tonight that I've worked with before and I hope to work with in the future, who inspire me and blazed trails for us. Four of them that I've fallen deeply in love with. I shared this night with them, I share this award with them.

Gabby, I love you so much. You are exquisite. You are beyond words to me. Carey [Mulligan], your grace and your elegance and your beauty and your talent makes me sick. Helen [Mirren], I feel like we are family through family and I don't have the words to express just what I think of you. And Meryl [Streep], you know what I think of you and you are such a good kisser.

I have so many people to thank for my good fortune in this lifetime and this is a once in a lifetime experience, I know. To the family that allowed me to play them, the Tuwy family, I know they're in here and you'll probably hear her in a minute... maybe not. Thank you for giving me the opportunity. To the family that gave me this film, that gave me the opportunity to do something different. (Then she mentions people, people, people). Everyone who showed me kindness when it wasn't fashionable, I thank you. To everyone who was mean to me when George Clooney threw me into a pool years ago. I'm still holding a grudge.

But there's so many people to thank, not enough time. So I would like to thank what this film is about for me which are the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from. Those moms and parents never get thanked. I, in particular, failed to thank one.

So... if I can take this moment to thank Helga B. for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18 because she was right. I would've done what she said I was gonna do. For making me practice every day when I got home. Piano, ballet, whatever it is I wanted to be. She said to be an artist, you had to practice every day, and for reminding her daughters that there's no race, no religion, no class system, no color, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love. So, to that trailblazer, who allowed me to have that. And this.

I thank you so much for this opportunity that I share with these extraordinary women and my lover Meryl Streep. Thank you!"

My God. Her speech was all touchy and funny and charming all at the same time! It didn't sound self-indulgent but more of just pure gratefulness for everyone that she has come to experience life with! Wah. I love her speech!

Tiny Life

Looking down out of this little round window
On silver wings at 20,000 feet
With lakes and streams and fields of green
I tend to think the most peculiar things

Ribbons of highways, side roads and byways
People going all ways, always in a hurry
Gotta get there, but just where?
From up here, I'm not sure
Where it's all going or what it all means

But sometimes I think, it's just a simple thing
I close my eyes and I realize all I really need
Is love I have, and the love I have to give
Anything else there is - is insignificant
In this tiny life

Wheels hit the runways, Mondays run into Mondays
And some days are better than some days
Can't see the sky, skyscrapers too high
Thirty second daydream at another red light
I'm back in my hometown of roads that we rode down
Those sights and sounds are just yesterday's now
There's deadlines and stress lines and too much on my mind
I'm getting it all, but what's it all for?

The love we make, the dreams we share
The friends we have in our short time here
It's knowing God's grace, the touch of a hand
Holding a baby, calling mom and dad
It's making the most of the moments we have
And getting to live long enough to look back
On the years, the sweet tears of joy and laughter
It's all that really matters

UST Trip, USC and CAS Elections (AK!)

At anong ginawa namin dun? Wala lang naman. Bumili ng Pandan Jelly sa Goldilocks (NA UBOD NG SARAP. Salamat Mtch para sa discovery na 'to) Umupo lang sa field, nagkwentuhan, kinausap is Dian sa cellphone (sandali, more on inaway pala yun), tas sinamahan pala kami ni Arh, yung pinsan ni Mtch. :)

Masaya.

Ahahaha.
