The L Word

My day passed me by so quickly. Hihi. It's because I did nothing else today but watch the 5th season of The L Word. I am now halfway through it.

I thank God for our not-so-reliable internet connection. Because if we had otherwise, then I would have finished the 5th and even the 6th season by now. So much for containing myself. Ahaha.

It's just that I love the series sooo much. The actresses are all freaking natural and the characters they all portray? Damn. I don't even know where to start.

I personally LOVE Bette Porter, played by the incredibly hot Jennifer Beals. I love everything about her! Her art, her stature and even the mess that she becomes whenever Tina's around. I love how one minute, she's so put together and the next, she's falling apart. Definitely my type!

And I guess it goes without saying that if you love Bette, then you also adore Tina Kennard. And I do! She's so conservative, down to earth and simply the kindest of them all.

There are a lot of reasons why I love them (Bette and Tina) together. I don't wanna list them all down but the bottom line is ... TIBETTE FOREVER! Woohoo. They are just so adorable. Their chemisty is simply undeniable. THEY FEEL REAL TO ME.


Haaaay.

I also love Alicia Pieszecki, played by the real-life lesbian, Leisha Hailey. Damn, she's hot. :)) She's the cutest and she says the funniest things!

I also did a lot of research. I found out that Jennifer Beals is ALREADY 46 YEARS OLD (47 by December 22). AND I JUST COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I mean, she's way older than Regine but damn, JENNIFER LOOKS FREAKING GOOD. Just how can someone be 46 years old and be that fit and hot and sexy? What the hell! Maybe its because she participates in a lot of triathlons.



I also found out that Jennifer's a dancer too. She starred in the movie Flashdance because of that. She played a struggling ballet dancer. And man was she great. And SHE ALSO SINGS. :| SHE ALSO SINGS. Is there anything she can't do?

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.
I also researched Leisha. Can you believe that she's a musician? Yes. She's part of the duo called, Uh Huh Her (UHH). I downloaded their 2 albums (I See Red and Common Reaction) and I can't wait to listen to them. Gahd. It's really not in Leisha's image to be a musician! She sings and she plays the bass. And that's nothing but total raw hotness baybeeeh. HOT.



OBVIOUSLY, I've been obssessing over the L Word and everything about it. And I know this wouldn't be good for me because it only strengthens my lesbian tendencies. But what the hell, girls are better lovers than men (because men are self-centered, disgusting pigs who have lopsided sticks down there that they use for pleasure). I know I can't concretely prove that but something tells me that it's already been proven by a lot of people... or maybe just by most people around me.

So just let me be. And let me shape my own future. As of now, I can only imagine myself with a girl. I'm not hoping this thinking would change, but I won't get all cranky and mad if ever it does. I mean, anything goes :)


Everyone has feelings for their girlfriends.
But that doesn't mean they have to act on them..

True Update

I should be preparing to go to school now but the need to make a better post has drawn me to click the "New Post" button.

Anyways, school has been... fine. I mean not good but just fine. I have lowered my standards and a simple grade of 3 has been enough to get me through my classes. I know its bad to think like so but what can I do. A girl has to do what she thinks is best for her in every situation.

POOP has been better. I mean not good but better than shit. We've been under the boys since more than a month ago and things are relatively smoother. There are a lot of services in line - the concert being the major one.

The aparment has improved. I mean not grand or anything but sustainable. We already have net, aircon and even cable! All accomplished by our Mother Goose. :)

The Kyla is still the same Kyla. Nothing really changed in that department. Well, except the fact that she's been totally leaning towards her lesbian side, but whatever. Who cares, right? She blames all this on the lesbian characters she sees and admires in the american series that she dutifully watches. Blame Grey's and of course, The L Word. :))

AND KYLA HASN'T SEEN INCEPTION. SHE'S DYING.

Anyways, I guess I should take a bath now.

Dear blog,

I miss you like hell. I need to update you. I need to update you about Regine and Calzona and about everything in my life. But sadly and unfortunately, I can't. I have no proper internet access and I don't even have TV. I can't watch Diva. I haven't seen it for almost 3 weeks. That's 15 episodes full of love that I haven't seen and indulged myself in. :'( It feels bad. I feel bad.

Although I should tell you that this sudden turn of events led me to embracing my diary. I mean, it's sooooo full. And it has every detail of my daily activities.

I guess that's really just how the world goes.
You win some, you lose some.

You can never get EVERYTHING you want.
But still, that shouldn't stop you from enjoying what you can and what you have.
Right?

I am so in love with what Shonda Rhimes said about Calzona.

"Callie and Arizona. I mean, I feel like we watched what I thought was a really lovely progression between the two of them. Going from Callie being furious at Arizona and not talking to her at all, to Arizona saying the thing that I think she’s been thinking all season. If you notice every time Callie says, ‘We have to talk,’ Arizona would say, ‘Are you going back to men? Is that what’s going on? Are you going back to men?’ Her greatest fear is that Callie is a visiting lesbian, she’s a vacationing lesbian, she’s not actually in this relationship. Callie says, ‘When are you gonna stop blaming me for not being good enough lesbian for you?’ And Arizona says, ‘When, you know, you prove to me that you’re really in love with me and not with being in love.’ And that was such a wonderful true moment of two people who are basically saying their greatest fear. And, when in fact you discover in that scene with Gary Clark, the exact opposite’s true. They both really love each other.

And Callie’s speech to that little girl about Arizona’s super magic smile is one of my favorite things ever. It’s the sweetest, sweetest moment. And I love that in that moment Arizona’s first instinct is to throw her body over a child. And Callie’s instinct is to protect them both. It was very beautiful and kind of a metaphor for them and their future and the family unit, which I thought was really beautiful.

So I loved the end, and we talked about this- Jessica and Sara and I talked about this a lot in the writer’s room- In the end, Sara says, ‘I don’t wanna ha-‘ Callie says, ‘I don’t wanna have kids if it means I can’t be with you.’ And Arizona says, ‘We’ll have kids. We’ll have tons of kids. We’ll have ten kids. Cause I can’t live without you and our ten kids.’ It’s like my favorite moment, because it’s not really about kids at all. The kids issue is not settled. What’s settled is they know they wanna be together no matter what. So that was kind of an amazing moment. I felt like it was a grown up moment for the two of them. It’s not about what you’ll give me or won’t give me. It’s about them."
