REGINE'S vow for Ogie

"Mahal, ang araw na ito ay magiging isa sa pinakaimportanteng araw sa buhay natin. Tinanong tayo ni Pastor kung bakit tayo magpapakasal, mas madali raw kasi ang maging single, pero hindi. Nung dumating ka sa buhay ko, pagod na ako at malungkot nako. Sinagot naman agad Niya ang mga dasal ko, agad!

Simula sa araw na ito ikaw na ang makakasama ko sa buong buhay ko. Alam kong magiging masaya at puno ng tawanan at pagmamahal ang buhay ko kasama mo. Ganun pa man may mga pagkakataon na makakalimutan ko ang aking mga pangako, may mga sandaling hindi magiging mahaba ang aking pasensya, may mga panahong hindi kita maiintindihan, may mga araw na hindi kita maaalagaan, may mga pangangailangan kang hindi ko maibibigay, may mga oras na magiging masungit ako ng wala lang, walang kadahilanan, pasensya na "hormones" at saka 40 na malapit ng magmenopause. Sabi ko na nga ba eh.. I am such a sucker for sweet words. Sobrang kahinaan ko ang writers. Sa mga ex ko palang, (yehes, "mga" kala mo ang dami, haha!), tignan mo ang common denominator nila, puro sila magagaling magsulat.

Hindi ko alam pero kahit sa birthday ko, bigyan mo lang ako ng sobrang haba at pinagisipang sulat, SOLVE NA'KO. Sige, oo, masasabi kong matutuwa parin ako sa mga regalong materyal, pero kung binigyan mo'ko ng stuffed toy at may kalakip pa yung sulat, yung sulat yung mas tutuunan ko ng pansin.

THE GREATEST NEWS OF THEM ALL!


Regine and Ogie's Wedding! Yipee!

It happened yesterday in Batangas, beach wedding effect.

It was obviously extravagant, contrary to what Regine initially wanted, but it's all right. She (or they both) deserved this kind of wedding. The media was tagging it as "The Wedding of the DECADE!" and I just couldn't agree more.

A huge number of celebrities attended and some even had a participation in the wedding itself.

The couple followed the ins and outs of a conventional wedding. They still had this:



But something was still out of place...



Yeah, you saw it right. She was wearing a pair of magnificent boots under her luscious red wedding dress. OH I LOVE her dress. I want it. And now I think, on my wedding day, I'd be wearing a bright red dress. Gaya-gaya. Haha.

Her dog, George, was of course present in the awaited event. And damn did he have such special attention! He was wearing a tux and he's so cute in it. And he even had his OWN table! I envy that dog, SO MUCH. :|



But among all of this, I noticed one thing... one person actually... MIKEE COJUANGCO. DAMN. ANG GANDA PARIN NIYA. Even after all these years! LOOK!



HAAAAAAAAAAY. That's all I can ever say, "HAAAY". The lucky people who can be around Regine at anytime, I so envy them. It's so frustrating that the closest encounter I ever had with Regine was in an autograph signing event thing. :| GAH. ANYWAYS. Last week, or last last week, I think Regine had a "wedding shower" at PP. She became very emotional, but despite this, she still had the humor that I've always loved about her. Here are some of the things she said.

Hindi ko nga alam bat ako binibigyan ng tribute eh, di naman ako aalis, magaasawa lang naman ako. Ano ba!

Pasensya na kayo medyo emotional ako, hormones, hello.

Nagpapasalamat din ako sa mga taong tumulong sa'kin higit sa lahat, nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga kaibigan ko na pautloy pong sumusuporta sa mga album ko, nanonood ng mga pelikula ko, bumiili ng mga cd ko. Nagbabasa ako minsan sa internet. Nakakatawa kasi nilalagay nila dun "Regine at 40: Ikaw parin!" Bakit naman kailangan may 40 pa?

Hindi naman ako magpapaalam, nagpapasalamat lang po ako. Ayaw naman po akong pahintuan ng magiging asawa ako. I'm very thankful na sabi niya kung pagod na ako magpahinga ako dun sa ibang bagay na gingawa ko, pero huwag ko daw iwan ang pagkanta.

Magkita-kita tayo next year kasi may pasabog ako next year, good luck! Abangan niyo!

GAH! That's the best thing ever (next after the wedding)! Regine wouldn't be leaving showbiz! OH YES. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS. I was afraid that after she gets married, she'd "lie low" or worse, RETIRE. But no, even Ogie knew how much Regine means to the world, to her fans, especially to ME! And I love the fact that even Ogie doesn't want her to stop whatever she's doing. Haaay.

Can't wait for her "pasabog" next year!

Although I already have some ideas of what this "pasabog" would be.

There's the I Heart U Pare series, that will air on January 31. There's her indie film, Mrs. Recto, which I'm SUPER EXCITED about. And her movie with Aga, the long-delayed Of All The Things, that I hope they'd release during Valentine's.

See? She has so many things lined up for her.
OH I FORGET!

It's her 25th year in the business next year.
And I smell a grand concert :)

Gosh.

I PROMISE YOU, I WILL NOT MISS THAT CONCERT.

Alam kong masaya ka ngayon. AS IN nakikita (o nababasa?) ko sa mga text mo kung gano ka kasaya ngayon. At alam ko namang tama lang yan ngayon para sayo. Masaya ako at nakahanap ka ng lalaking sobrang mas matino kumpara sa mga dati mo. Hindi ko pa siya kilala ng todo, (pero dapat makilala ko siya!) pero may tiwala akong iba na 'to. IKAW NAMAN. Sobrang consistent mo sa buhay ko. Hanggang ngayon andyan ka parin, although hindi natin matandaan kung saan talaga tayo nagsimula maging close, haha. Life. Pero SALAMAT. Dahil alam kong maaasahan kita. Or kayo ni Papa Mig? Haha. 'Wag ka na umalis ng UPM, PL. :'(

SUPER MISS NA KITA HAYUP KA! Hindi na tayo nagkikita. At alam kong medyo nagkagap na tayo. Nafifeel ko yung gap na yun sa tuwing magkatext tayo. Stealing internet time

I was able to steal the laptop and am now making a hasty entry so as to tell everybody that I've been having the worst time of my life and I seriously need help. Everything is entirely screwed up and I have no effing clue how to straighten my life out.

The weekend was horrible. I stayed in bed and ate mostly Peanut Butter Presto, Mallows and the McDo Qtr Pounder burger fatherbear brought me during the night.

I can not even put everything into words.
It's so hard to stand on my own two feet when I have this huge ball of guilt on my shoulders.

Tears have been continually shed. And after a long time since I don't know, these salty droplets, once again, feel as heavy as lead.

And so does my heart, it feels as heavy as lead.
